Oral Health: Skin of Your Teeth
Thank you for your interest in our Skin of Your Teeth Learning Pack.
The Learning Pack grew out of a project at Fuse Youth Cafe which was funded by the Scottish Government’s Oral Health Challenge fund. Fuse is one of 15 organisations across Scotland who have been supported under this programme to find new and innovative ways of communicating positive oral health messages to young people.
The main part of this involved young people researching issues to do with their oral health and then scripting and producing the “Skin of Your Teeth” short film, which is contained in the pack. The film will be the usual starting point for a range of learning ideas that are included in the pack.
Whether young people live in or near Shettleston, or anywhere else in Scotland, we are sure that the material and learning ideas in here will be of great value in helping young people to understand how what they eat , and other decisions that they make, have an impact on their health and wellbeing generally.
